Quick Chocolate Syrup for Ice Cream

In a saucepan mix together:

1/2 cup cocoa
1-1/4 cups sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch

Stir in slowly 1-1/4 cup boiling water.

Boil over low heat until somewhat thick.
Remove from heat and stir in 1 teaspoon vanilla.

Store covered in refrigerator.
